TRAINING

New programs

Being an organization for practical application of legal sciences research, the training activities of LERES is always considered as a high priority. Training programs conducted by LERES is:

Having curriculum designed to tailor the needs of participants;

· Focusing on the practical application aspects and skills;

· Utilizing modern teaching techniques (co-lecturing, group discussion and brainstorming and exercises);

· Delivered by highly qualified lecturers with lots of practical experiences;

· Offering modern training facilities and equipments (overhead projector, computer projector, flipchart...)

· Successful programs:

o Legislative knowledge and skills training for staffs of Vietnam National Assembly Office;

o Knowledge and skills training for Deputies of provincial People’s council in Hai Phong, Nghe An, Binh Duong and selected deputies in the whole country; (see program)
Legal knowledge and operational skills for deputies of commune people’s council in Vo Nhai (Thai Nguyen), Dien Chau (Nghe An), ...;

o Laws for enterprises, laws on contract and contract disputes resolution, labor law for big corporation such as VMS, Vietnam Airline, ...;

o Document drafting techniques and communication skills for VUSTA;
Basic legal training for heads of villages, commune officials, and women’s union officers in Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh, Ha Tay, Binh Thuan, Hai Phong, ...;

o Introduction to Vietnamese legal system for Australian law students (Sydney University); (see program)

At the moment, LERES is preparing to launch following new programs:
1. Vietnamese commercial law for american enterprises.
2. American commercial law for Vietnamese enterprises;
3. Interllectuarl property law for Vietnamese enterprises.
4. Enhancing democracy at the grassroots level by building-up skills and knowledge capacity of the people’s representatives in Communes
5. Training legal knowledge for heads of villages and grassroots officer
6. Vietnamese law for foreigners.
